Thank you Jeany and Colette for allowing me to translate your tutorials.


May I point out that the tubes used here are strictly for personal use.
Do not change their names and watermarks and do not upload them on other websites.
Should you need to use these tubes for any other use than personal,
please contact the tubers first for permission.




 

You will need :
the  Filter Factory D Legolator HERE
the texture Polka.dot (already in PSP textures)
the misted tubes in the zip file HERE. If you prefer to use your own tubes, choose them misted.
a font of your choice.
  1. Choose 2 colours which match with your tube, a light one for the foreground (#ffe499) and a darker one for the background (#623200)

  2. open a new image 460x400 transparent and flood fill with your dark colour.
  3. Add a new layer. In the colour palette go to foreground and select the texture Polka.dot - scale 250 and flood fill the layer with this texture.





  4. Selection tool => custom selection with the following settings :





  5. Image => crop to selection. Of course, if you are not using this texture, you will have to adapt your selection settings to your own texture.

  6. Image : resize to 460 px width (resize all layers checked. the image new height is 401 px, but it doesn't matter.
  7. Effects => geometric effects => Perspective Horizontal : distorsion 100 - edge mode : wrap
  8. Selection tool => custom selection with the following settings :





  9. Hit DELETE key. Selections => select none (crtl D)
  10. Layers palette : duplicate. Image => mirror (the lines should fit together in the middle)
  11. Layers palette : merge down. Depending on your chosen colours, you can lower the layer's opacity to your liking
  12. Effects => 3D Effects => drop shadow : 1 / 1 / 100 / 40 - colour of the foreground - shadow on new layer checked !!
  13. Stay on the shadow layer. Effects => plugins => Filter Factory Gallery D : legolator with these settings :





  14. Stay on the shadow layer. Visibility toggle of raster layer 2 off
  15. Open the tube arabian_mist_01. Copy and paste as new layer. Move it to the upper right corner of your working image. Blend mode : luminance (legacy)





  16. Open the tube arabian_mist_02. Copy and paste as new layer. Blend mode : luminance (legacy)
  17. Effects => 3D Effects => drop shadow : 1 / 1 / 100 / 1 - colour of the foreground (shadow on new layer unchecked)
  18. Open the tube arabian_mist_03. Copy and paste as new layer. Move it to the lower right corner of your working image. Blend mode : luminance (legacy)





  19. Effects => Edge effects => enhance. Lower the layer's opacity to 75
  20. Open the tube arabian_mist_04. Copy and paste as new layer. Move it to the upper left corner of your working image. Be sure that the woman's shadow fits with the black line of the tube in the middle.




  21. Layers palette : blend mode : Luminance (Legacy) - opacity to 65.
  22. Visibility toggle of raster 2 on.
  23. Selection tool => custom selection with the following settings :





  24. Selections => modify => inside/outside feather : 40 - both





  25. Hit the DELETE key 2, 3 or 4 times to your liking and select none.
  26. Edit => copy. Edit => past as new image and put aside.
  27. Open the tube fleur_mist. Copy and paste as new layer. Move to the lower left corner of the working image. Blend mode : Luminance (legacy)
  28. Image => add borders : 1 px (background colour). Then 1 px (foreground colour). Again 1 px (background colour)
  29. Layers palette : promote background to layer
  30. Image : canvas size with these settings :





  31. Add a new raster layer. Layers => arrange : move down. Toggle visibility of the tag's layer off.
  32. Flood fill the new layer with the background colour. Add a new layer
  33. Materials palette - foreground - gradient with these settings :





  34. Flood fill the layer with the gradient. Repeat step 13 with the plugin Legolator.
  35. Selection tool => custom selection with the following settings :





  36. Image => crop to selection. Selections => select all (Crtl A)
  37. Add a new layer. Open the image you put aside
  38. Copy and paste into selection. Select none.
  39. Selection tool => custom selection with the following settings :





  40. Hit the DELETE key. Select none. Just the right side still remains. Visibility toggle of the tag layer on.
  41. Text tool. Select your font. I have choosen ALGERIAN font with these settings :





  42. Write your name or what you want. Add a drop shadow if you like it.
  43. Image => add borders : 1 px (background colour). 1 px (foreground colour). Again 1 px (background colour)
  44. Save in JPG optimizer.
