May I point out that the tubes used here are strictly for personal use.
Do not change their names and watermarks and do not upload them on other websites.
Should you need to use these tube for an other use than personal,
please contact the tubers first.

You will need
the tubes, the mask and the selection in the zip file HERE
the plugins MURA'S MEISTER : cloud - ALIEN SKIN EYECANDY 5 IMPACT : perspective shadow

Put the tubes in a folder of your choice.
Put the "fadebottom" mask in your PSP masks folder
Put the selection in your PSP selections folder
Put your plugins in your plugins folder
  1. Select a light colour matching your tube for your foreground (here #B0B6E0) and a darker colour for your background (here #384393)

  2. Materials palette : set a foreground gradient whith these settings :

  3. Open a new image 1024 x 350 px transparent and flood fill with your gradient

  4. Selections => select all (Ctrl A). Add a new layer

  5. Open MarieL's tube "MarieL2006juin_smokebluet". Image => rotate left. Image => flip

  6. Edit => copy. Edit => paste into selection in your working image

  7. Layers palette => duplicate. Image => mirror. Selections => select none (Ctrl D)

  8. Go back to the original layer. Effects => plugins => Mura's Meister : Cloud. If you hit the "reset colours" button several times you can modify the clouds

  9. Merge visible layers

  10. Layers => Load/save mask => load mask from disk. Select "Fadebottom" mask - settings : source luminance - fit to canvas - invert transparency unchecked - hide all mask.

  11. Layers => Merge group

  12. Effects => Image effects => seamless tiling with these settings

  13. Image => Canvas size (pay attention to the placement)

  14. Add a new layer and flood fill with your foreground light colour

  15. Layers palette => send to bottom and go back to the merged layer

  16. Open MarieL's tube "MarieL2006_abstract03_BattleofSexes2_small"

  17. Adjust => Hue and saturation => colorize with these settings :

  18. Edit => copy. Edit => paste as new layer on your working image. Move slightly to the left to align the tube with the smoke layer's middle, as shown below :

  19. Effects => plugins => Alien Skin EyeCandy 5 Impact => perspective shadow : settings : Reflect in Front - Sharp

  20. Layers palette => Merge all. Add your text. Export in JPG optimizer.
